We are currently casting for the role of a Featured Cat Lady in the upcoming project, "Merv." This is a unique opportunity for an older woman who owns a cat to participate in a film project set in Wilmington, NC. The role requires a one-day commitment on May 15th, with the potential for extended hours. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with their pet in a film setting and is looking to participate in a creative project.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in filming scenes as directed on May 15th.
• Work cooperatively with the film crew and other cast members.
• Manage your pet on set, ensuring they are calm and follow direction as needed for filming.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and follow set protocols.

Requirements:

• Female, any ethnicity, aged 65 and older.
• Must own a cat that can accompany you on set.
• Must be able to work as a local in Wilmington, NC (no travel or accommodation compensation).
• Available for the entirety of the shoot on May 15th.
• Comfortable handling your cat in a busy set environment.
• Previous acting experience is not required but considered a plus.

Compensation Details:

• Guaranteed payment of $123.75 for up to 10 hours of filming.
• Overtime paid at time and a half for any hours worked beyond the initial 10 hours.
• Additional $50 feature bump due to the featured nature of the role.
