Casting Call: Assistant Trainer for Feature Film

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Trainer to join the production of a high-profile feature film shooting in Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of fitness knowledge and practical on-set experience to support the lead trainer in managing physical training sessions and ensuring actors are safe, motivated, and progressing towards their physical goals for the film.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead trainer in developing and implementing training programs tailored to specific needs of the cast.
• Supervise and motivate actors during workout sessions.
• Ensure all training activities are safe and comply with film production standards.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating training sessions in line with the film's shooting schedule.
• Monitor the progress of actors and provide feedback to the lead trainer.
• Maintain training equipment and ensure all gear is in excellent condition.
• Provide first aid and manage minor injuries if they occur during training.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a trainer, with a strong understanding of fitness and physical conditioning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
• Certification in personal training or relevant field preferred.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in film or television productions is a plus but not mandatory.

Compensation Details:

• The rate is set at $1000+ per day, following SAG Basic Theatrical Agreement rates.
• Travel expenses to and from Puerto Rico will be fully covered.
• Accommodation and daily per diems provided during the shoot.
